Modelleren en Ontwerpen

The course Modelling and Design is focused on learning domain modelling, and how to create formalised representation. Whilst applying modelling techniques, a broader architectural view is taken, in which students are made aware of choices in e.g. framing and scoping. This course prepares students to exchange knowledge with domain stakeholders, and to communicate potential design decisions.

Sander is a lecturer who is interesting in exploring how a distributed nature affects our infrastructure. A middleware perspective is taken. In the development of Critical Cyber Infrastructure, exploring adaptivity is a key- aspect. My research interest focuses on enabling adaptation is on dynamic complex systems, for multi-layered systems. particularly on structures and processes. For designing for change both structure and process, knowledge needs to be made explicit and to support local adaptations.
